REMEMBRANCE

Probably one of my most striking pieces, this painting was in tribute to all those that paid the ultimate price. I love the almost transparent quality of the poppies and the deep blood red. To get this affect I primarily used acrylic inks because when placed onto a damp surface they spread so beautifully with little loss of vibrancy.

Working on this piece was a truly wonderful experience.
